We have implemented the following policies and procedures, in line with government requirements and best practise. These ensure your safety and comfort whilst on the road with us.
We are a COVID Clean Provider
As members of Qualmark, we have passed a COVID Clean assessment. This demonstrates our understanding of the New Zealand government’s requirements. This award is also formally recognised by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
Whilst on tour with Cheeky Kiwi Travel, you can currently expect the following:
Sanitisation On Board
We provide hand sanitiser on board all of our minibuses and encourage you to sanitise your hands regularly.
All of our minibuses have air conditioning and appropriate ventilation. Our guides ensure good airflow throughout tours and include a number of opportunities to exit the vehicle for fresh air.
Our fleet is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised at the end of each tour to ensure your comfort.
Government Mandates and Requirements
We follow all government mandates and requirements (for example, mask wearing). These change depending on the alert/traffic light level and can do so on short notice.
By joining us, you also agree to follow these rules.
COVID-Related Cancellation Policy
If you are required to isolate or are unable to travel with us due to COVID-19, we will provide a full refund with more than 24-hours notice. Alerntatively, we can hold your tour or transport in credit for you.
Please note, if you arrive your tour or transport with symptoms of COVID-19 you will be unable to board and no refund will be provided.
Self-Isolation Whilst on the Road
In the unlikely event that you should need to self-isolate whilst on your tour or transport service (due to government requirements or illness), Cheeky Kiwi Travel does not accept responsibility for any isolation costs you may incur.
