The Hooker Valley Track is currently CLOSED while the Department of Conservation works on replacing one of the swing bridges. This is expected to be complete in Autumn 2026 so the track will be inaccessible to the public until then

Amazing Drive with Stunning Scenery

Beautiful opportunity to incorporate a tour into a transfer from Queenstown to Christchurch. Our tour guide, Dean drove the first leg to Mt Cook. He was friendly, super knowledgeable and warm. Lots of great information. The scenery (albeit rainy) was magnificent with stunning landscapes. We did 2 hikes, and loved them both. Drivers were switched and then Joe drove the final leg to Christchurch. A lovely young guide who provided great information. Lake Tekopa was stunning. It was a long day but so worth it. Joe dropped us off right at our AirBNB. Super impressed with the company and the guides. We’d highly recommend them!

Incredible Experience

We had a great time. Lots of interesting stops and plenty of information about each one and the whole of New Zealand. Topped off by hikes and views of Mount Cook.

Amazing Day at Mt. Cook!

What an unforgettable experience traveling from Queenstown to Christchurch with a stunning day at Mt. Cook! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the entire journey felt seamless and perfectly organized. A huge thank you to Hannah, Bobbi, and Rosie for their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care throughout the day. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we had the perfect experience. Their knowledge and positive energy made the trip even more enjoyable. Thank you Cheeky Kiwi!

Above and beyond

Great company, tours and people. My second tour with them. Small group, very flexible in pick up and drop offs. Kristina is a great tour guide. Lots of stories and facts about the area. She went out of her way to get my bag that I left on one of the stops. Great favour that I really appreciate, or my vacation would be ruined. This would never be possible with the big bus. Scenery is amazing. We had time to do some trail hiking. Bus change went smoothly. They even changed the bus driver at the end (it’s only allowed to drive for max 14 hours in NZ) so that everyone would be dropped off at our hotels. I have booked several other tours with Cheeky Kiwis as I trust they will be doing a great job. Thank you, guys!

Lovely trip and driver guides. We were picked up promptly. We had Shura for the first part of the trip and Karl for the 2nd half.

Highly recommend the tour
