Great tour! Highly recommend!

Steve our guide was very knowledgeable about the Fiordland National Park and provided great insights about what we saw on route to Milford Sound. We all had a lovely time with our small tour group. We saw dolphins playing near the hull of the boat, saw fur seals chilling on rocks and got up close and wet with the waterfalls. Lunch provided was also excellent!

Fabulous Milford Sound trip

Excellent trip. Driver/guide Steve was a fountain of knowledge and made the trip. The weather on Milford Sound was not the best but it was atmospheric and still fabulous.

Excellent Trip

Excellent trip with a fantastic guide, Jeremy. He is knowledgeable about everything, plants, animals, birds, mountains. Great guy, very friendly. He made the trip worthwhile. Milford Sound is gorgeous!

Spectacular trip to Milford Sound.

This was an amazing trip. Jeremy was an excellent host for the trip. His knowledge was second to none and he had a great sense of humor. He managed to have us all laughing. He was also extremely organized and he was great at the many stops along the way, timing them perfectly, making sure we knew what to do and where to meet him so we didn't wander off or get lost. This was great value for money. The trip through the Sound was spectacular (the change in the weather as we arrived was also a great help. The size of the group was also perfect. We had an excellent bus, no waiting around for large buses or being so crowded you couldn't see. The small boat through the Sound also allowed us to maneuver closer to the waterfalls.

Another 5 star tour from Cheeky Kiwi Travel!!!

First of all, do not miss the Milford Sound cruise tour if you come to New Zealand...it is superb! The scenery is stunning and you'll see many million dollar views! We chose Cheeky Kiwi Travel (this was our second tour with them) from Te Anu, and we were impressed. Steve, our tour guide, made every minute of our day worthwhile! With his expansive knowledge of everything New Zealand, and I mean everything, the entire day went by way too quickly. During the 2 hour drive each way, we peppered Steve with tons of questions on many topics, and he had great Kiwi insight into them all! He's like a walking encyclopedia! The company plans great stops along the way, and picks up a great lunch from a local cafe for you to take on the boat. You also get a bonus stop for delicious NZ ice cream! I highly encourage you to book this tour...it is top notch!!!

Great tour and amazing tour guide!

A great small group tour with many beautiful stops along the way to enjoy the park. Our tour guide Steve is kind, approachable, ever-courteous, and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the natural world and New Zealand history. We learned so much!

Awesome. The only way to see Milford Sound

Steve, our Tour Guide and Driver picked us up at the specified time and place. Along the entire route fro Te Anu to Milford Sound, Steve pointed out interesting sights, history of what we were seeing, and facts about New Zealand. We arrived at the Sound right on schedule to board the boat. Thankfully we were on smaller boat that had less than 50. Most other boats held several hundred. We ere provided a picnic lunch that was both tasty and filling. Our Milford Sound boat tour lasted 2 hours. Upon returning to port, Steve was there to meet us and get us on our way back to Te Anu. After experiencing this Tour, I believe it was worth every cent we paid. Steve was a wonderful Host and Guide.

Top notch Milford Sound Tour

Our guide Steve was a remarkable driver and narrator with so much local knowledge and a cheerful sense of humour. He made us appreciate even more the impressive natural beauty of the Southern Alps. Steve was friendly and helpful to each and every person of our small group of 16 people. Before and after our Milford Sound cruise, we were guided to several natural wonders including stops to the stunning Mirror lakes and also to alpine waterfalls. Lunch was provided and included delicious and healthy options. We will definitely book this experience again in our next visit to NewZealand! 100% recommended!

One of a Kind Adventure

From the prompt pick up to the drop off at our AirBnB, we were given top notch care by our tour guide, Steve. So personable with a wealth of knowledge to share. Even on a cloudy day, the beauty that surrounded us on the drive was spectacular. Stops along the way made the journey all the more enjoyable. The cherry on top was the 2 hour boat ride around Milford Sound. Hard to explain how immense the cliffs are that surround you. Getting up close and personal with a waterfall was the best. Do yourself a favor and choose Cheeky Kiwi for your Milford Sound excursion. They do it right!
