Unforgettable guided tour

Jeremy is sooooooo good and kind. He is willing to share what he knows in humorous and interesting words. He not only took us to take many beautiful landscape photos, but also introduced us to many edible plant fruits.

Fantastic tour, highly recommended

Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Stephen was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who made sure everyone in the group was included. He was a very safe driver. His local knowledge meant we didnt miss any highlights but also didnt stop with the crowds or if the views would be better on the way back. Lunch and snacks were very good. Comfortable bus and the small group was perfect.

Milford Sound day trip with cruise from Te Anau

What a FANTASTIC experience, lead by our guide, Steve, who was incredible and extremely knowledgeable. We were picked up on time by minibus and greeted warmly by Steve who took time to learn names and involve everyone on the trip. The journey to and from Milford Sound was an adventure in itself and made 100x more enjoyable by having it explained as we went, with ample stops for photos/ toilet breaks. We would have had a very different experience if doing it solo (which we wouldn't recommend - having some local insight taught us this road can be very dangerous if not driven safely by everyone). We learnt lots about the history of the area and culture with chance to ask questions. Steve organised our boat tickets, battling the crowds and securing us a spot on a smaller, quieter boat. We took our provided lunches on board which included fresh sandwiches, vegetables, sweet treats and a drink. There were plenty of snacks and water on the mini bus also. The boat itself was amazing, taking us on a 2 hour cruise around Milford Sound. The views were spectacular, and we experienced almost every weather condition possible! We were kept very safe, and despite lots of rain, had an unforgettable experience. (The rain actually makes it better as there's lots more waterfalls to see - just make sure to bring warm waterproof clothes and take advantage of the tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate on board!). Steve gave us recommendations for after the trip and dropped us where we requested. He really made the day super special and an experience we will always remember - what a guy! Would 100% recommend this trip. Was worth every single penny (and a really reasonable cost for everything we experienced/ received over the day)!

Excellent tour

An amazing day with CheekyKiwi tours. Steve was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide, and was an excellent driver. The scenery and boat trip was stunning. The packed lunch was lovely and exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend, and the smaller boat also makes it a more enjoyable experience.

Milford Sound Experience

Excellent day, boutique type experience with a small van for 12 people and only 40 people on the Milford Sound boat compared to bigger boats having over 300 ! Highly recommended and our host Steve was a legend.

A must to experience Milford!

Steve was a fantastic guide. Incredible knowledge, great presence, tone and warmth. The local knowledge and intimate size group make this tour a must to get away from the larger groups travelling to Milford. 6/5 Stars!
