The easiest. Way to see Milford Sound and well worth the money

Pick up was easy and we were in a small, comfortable minibus with extra big windows. Amazing stops at viewpoints and beauty spots. Excellent packed lunch. The cruise itself was wonderful. Breathtaking scenery. It’s a long day but so worth it.

Astounding sights with a fantastic guide

This was an absolutely astounding trip, packed full of waterfalls, wildlife and gorgeous sights. Benny was the best tour guide and I can’t thank him enough for such a lovely day which was the highlight of my trip.

Fun, fascinating, feature-filled!

Our lovely Malaysian guide was SO patient, humorous and informative without overloading his passengers with details. He was bang on time, kept us moving along with momentum and purpose, whilst explaining interesting facts in an accessible way. It must be exhausting to drive a disparate group of travellers safely for 13 hours, but he was unfailingly polite, respectful and humorous. Would thoroughly recommend his gentle, funny, friendly company!

Fantastic day to Milford Sound

Our experience from the start was fantastic! Picked up when said and dropped off same. Our guide Olly was wonderful, told us all sorts of facts about the area and country. He was kind and always helpful! Always Che king to make sure all was ok. Snacks and water always available if needed. The boat tour was great as well! Windy but to be expected. So Beautiful! Perfect size tour in a Sprinter Van. So nice not to be on a big tour bus. I would highly recommend this tour! Thank you Olly for a great day.

Awesome experience - a must do in New Zealand!

We had an awesome time with our Milford sound experience! We were curious if it would really be worth the long bus ride, but we actually ended up enjoying the drive itself and all the scenic stops. Our tour guide Benny was fantastic and did a great job keeping everyone engaged, offering to take photos, and checking in on everyone. This was the highlight of our New Zealand trip, and we’d definitely recommend this!

Awesome tour!

Cheeky Kiwi Travel is a great tour company. Tour to Milford South was well organized, on time. Van for small group, fits about 13 people, was clean and comfortable. Our guide, Olly was a safe driver, very nice and enthusiastic, gave a perfect amount of entertaining facts and made great stops for scenic viewing. The drive was long but well worth seeing the many waterfalls and fjorlands.

Top day

Fantastic day from Queenstown. Nice route with many stops along the way, without constantly looking at the clock. Olly gave a lot of information and made sure we lacked nothing. Also the boat trip was great, we were lucky and saw several dolphins:) Highly recommended!

Incredible Day at Milford Sound absolutely recommend

We had an absolutely fantastic day visiting Milford Sound with Cheeky Kiwi Travel! it was easily one of the highlights of our trip! The tour was planned to perfection from start to finish. Our guide Danny was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, and great at creating a fun atmosphere for everyone on board. He played his own playlist throughout the drive and timed the music perfectly with the scenery, which made the experience feel quite theatrical and really added something special to the journey. We also played games along the way, and Danny made sure everyone was having a great time. The scenery throughout the drive was breathtaking, and Milford Sound itself was absolutely stunning, we haven’t seen anything like it before. The whole day was incredibly comfortable with a smooth journey, good food, beautiful sights, and lots of fun. We would absolutely recommend doing this tour, especially with Cheeky Kiwi Travel. A fantastic way to experience Milford Sound!
