Driver is great. Provided detailed information on many things on our way, including some history of NZ and importance of some of the landmarks etc.

Safe n worth travel mode for solo traveller .

Tour was amazing , 1st solo travel experince with Cheeky Kiwi Travels. Worth of money , visiting time on a movie set n cave acceptable , it was great , on time felt if had more time . Safest tour n hv more plans with kiwi travels. Matt was great , flow up on every details . Organising n on time . Hobbiton movie set tour fun n on detailed finally visit my movie location . inside bilbo house tour end with one of houses n cool refreshment on green dragon enjoyed lot great day . Waitomo caves , learned lot abt breeding , boat experience to see glow worms facinating .

Best Auckland Tour Guide

Ari was an amazing tour guide, guiding us through beautiful New Zealand, making us feel welcome and educating us on the culture. We feel privileged to have her us our tour guide. Although the trip was lengthy, Ari made it fly by.

Perfect intro to New Zealand and Middle Earth!

Timmy made sure we had an excellent introduction to our New Zealand trip and a fantastic experience! We went through the Hobbiton and Waitomo caves with him. Perfect guide - great blend of information, humor, and even worked in an extra stop to check out some local specialties. The company was fantastic to work with, and we didn't have a single hitch on the trip. HIGHLY recommend!

A Day to Remember!

My husband and I booked a full-day tour to Hobbiton and the Waitomo Glowworm Caves with Cheeky Kiwi Travel, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in New Zealand. Hobbiton truly is magical. Even as someone who hasn’t seen the movies, I was completely charmed by the setting — the rolling green hills, the attention to detail, and the sheer care that has gone into preserving the site. It’s one of those places that feels special the moment you arrive and is absolutely not to be missed. The Waitomo Glowworm Caves added an entirely different kind of magic. The caves themselves are stunning, and drifting through while thousands of glowworms light up the darkness is surreal and unforgettable. That said, the best part of the entire day was our guide, Jeoff. He was incredibly organized, kept everything running smoothly, and made what could have been a long day feel effortless. His knowledge of New Zealand — its history, culture, and geography — was impressive, and he shared it in a way that was engaging rather than overwhelming. Add in his quick wit, great sense of humor, and excellent driving, and the hours flew by. If you’re considering this tour, I can’t recommend it enough — especially if you’re lucky enough to have Jeoff as your guide. He genuinely elevated the experience from a great tour to an exceptional one.
