Full day return or one way tour from Auckland to the geothermal wonderland and adventures playground of Rotorua where you can choose what attractions you want to visit or activities you would like to do.

On this tour you will be picked up from your accomodation in our 12 seater minibus and driven through the stunning Waikato countryside, the most extensive farming area in the world, on a fully guided journey to Rotorua. During the trip south you will encounter stunning scenery, great photo opportunities, beautiful mountains and several different farm animals along the way. We will also pass through the unique town of Tirau (the corrugated iron sculpture capital of the world) and the stunning Fitzgerald Glade.

Once in Rotorua we will do a guided tour of the city past its famous and historical sites including Lake Rotorua, The Government Gardens, Blues Baths, Thermal Springs and Polynesian Spa. From here your tour becomes very flexible and you can choose up to two of  Rotorua's most famous attractions to visit or free time for yourself. Maybe head to the famous geothermal park and Maori cultural village of Te Puia, bath it the geothermal spas of Polynesian Spa, see some farm culture with the sheep show at Argodome, roll down a hill in a Zorb, have an adventure thrill at Skyline or simply have some free time to explore the city and it's beauties.

Te Puia Geothermal park - $47 per person

Te Puia spans 70 hectares within the historic Te Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley, on the edge of Rotorua. They are home to the world famous Pōhutu geyser, mud pools, hot springs and silica formations. You will also find a native Kiwi bird viewing house and see some of the native Maori architecture and culture at the national schools of wood carving, weaving, stone and bone carving. 

This option includes: Entry ticket, guided tour of the park, Kiwi house and Maori arts and carving school. 

Te Puia Geothermal Park with Maori cultural show - $60 per person

Add Te Puia's Maori cultural show to your geothermal park experience. Te Puia’s Māori cultural performances on Rotowhio Marae transport manuhiri (visitors) back in time, beginning with a spine-tingling wero (challenge) from a Māori warrior followed by a traditional pōwhiri (welcome). Manuhiri are then invited inside the beautifully carved wharenui (meeting house), to experience a traditional and unique Māori concert.

This option includes: Entry ticket, cultural show entry ticket, guided tour of the park, Kiwi house and Maori arts and carving school.

Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal parK - $75 per person

Named "One of the 20 Most SURREAL Places in the World" by trip adviser Wai-O-Tapu is home to an expansive geothermal area including the Champagne lake and local mud-pools and wonders. 


This option includes: Transport to and entry tickets into the park.  

Polynesian spa - DEluxe lake spa - $50 per person


Embrace nature’s sanctuary and slip into four shallow Rachel Spring alkaline mineral hot pools 36oC – 42oC, one Priest Spring acidic mineral hot pool overlooking Lake Rotorua. Agrodome sheep & DOG show - $35 per person


In the heart of 350-acres of lush farmland, yet only 10 minutes from Rotorua city centre, you’ll find New Zealand’s Agrodome.

Zorb - $45 per person


ZORB Rotorua is the iconic Rotorua adventure activity that has been operating for over 17 years offering the original and unique experience of ZORB globe riding - rolling downhill in a large inflatable globe. A must-do adventure activity while in New Zealand, ZORB Rotorua offers two ride types - ZYDRO (wet ride) and ZORBIT (dry ride) as well as four track options, and eight ride variations. There's something for everyone!
Every customer receives a certificate confirming they are an official 'ZORBonaut' as well as a FREE photo (uploaded to their Facebook account). In-ride video is also available as a unique way to remember your ZORB experience.
