Excellent small tour

Amazing experience, Danny the guide was awesome and very entertaining. Excellent soundtrack! The smaller cruise ship was not cramped or overcrowded so we could enjoy the outdoor experience more.

The best way to do Milford Sound

Danny and Nicky were great guides (Nicky’s first day and she was already incredible!) and made the trip much more special. We left from Te Anau at 9:30am and were back by 5pm - definitely the way to go. We had a group of about 14, everyone was introduced to each other and we all chatted for a bit on the way to Milford. We made some great friends, it was definitely refreshing from the standard tours going around. The cruise was also great (about 2 hours in length), and the views and sights on the drive towards the cruise itself were spectacular. Would highly recommend for anyone and everyone wanting to experience Milford Sound.

Local knowledge makes the experience

Our tour with Jeremy was amazing. The tour itself was lovely, but how could it not be driving from Te Anau to Milford Sound: Jeremy being our driver made it that much more special. Having a guide with such rich and varied experience in the region is an absolute asset to the trip, and his personal stake in the area, its biodiversity and conservation took the whole package to the next level. 10/10

Milford Sound road trip and cruise

An enjoyable full day trip in a minivan up to Milford Sound with photo stops along the way, as well as interactions with the playful kea arctic parrots. The cruise was scenic with lots of waterfalls, rainbows and we got to see a pod of dolphins swim next to our ship. Comes with a packed lunch with a sandwich, salad, cheese and crackers, brownie and cold-pressed juice. Our guide Kristina was helpful annd friendly, and has plenty of entertaining stories and interesting facts on the drive up and back.

Unforgettable experience!

We absolutely enjoyed our cheeky kiwi tour to Milford Sound. Our tour guide Jason was a blast and really made use of the great weather we had, stopping at loads of beautiful places on the way. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a more intimate experience!

A great day out

A fantastic trip. The van was comfortable and Jeff was great explaining every spot as we went. One of those places that has to be seen to appreciate to magnitude of the place.

Totally worth it

Our driver and guide Jason was super friendly warm and helpful, stopping at interesting and beautiful spots on the way to Milford Sound. Glad I took the tour instead of self driving. Would highly recommend.

Magical Milford Sound with Steve !

We had a fantastic day exploring Milford Sound with Cheeky Kiwi. The entire experience felt truly magical and enlightening from start to finish. A massive thank you to our tour guide, Steve, who was absolutely brilliant. He shared wonderful insights, local and historical facts, kept us entertained, and looked after everyone perfectly. The scenery is breathtaking, but having such a great crew made it truly unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour! If you are booking a Milford Sound trip, do it with Cheeky Kiwi and hope you get Steve!
